I'm Leonardo, but you can call me Leo! I am an entrepreneur and marketing freelance, on a mission to help bold, purpose-driven founders turn their vision into thriving brands.
The mission
Leonardo Marketing Lab exists for one simple reason: I believe small, purpose-driven brands deserve to win.
Building a business is always hard. But for young founders with the aim to change the world, build a movement, and inspire others, the challenge is even greater. You're not just chasing profit, you're fulfilling a mission.
I know this because I'm a founder, too.
My daily work is to be the strategic partner I wish I'd had. To stand with you and make it easier to grow, be remembered and help you forge genuine connections with your community.
There is no feeling in the world like seeing your mission come to life, that first order, a five star review or seeing someone using or wearing your product with pride. Those are feelings impossible to describe to those who never experienced it, helping you feeling and nourish that fire is why I do all of this.

A little more about me
I am the founder of Fear The Ordinary, a sustainable, ethic and adventure travel inspired clothing brand. My product have been sold in more than 20 countries around 4 continents. As a freelance, I founded Leonardo Marketing Lab and helped small businesses around Europe thrive and become impossible to forget.
I'm a strong believer in the power of creativity, passion and curiosity. Three pillars of every business and partnership I work on. I attended and completed many courses, specializations and workshops from renowned universities and companies. From Sustainable Fashion at Copenhagen University, to Brand Strategy at London Business School or many workshop and courses with Marketers Company, Hubspot, Shopify Academy and more.
I'm Italian but at the moment I live in France. I love travelling and the outdoors, explore new cultures, read books (about marketing but not only), listen to music, play guitar, cook, photography and take long walks.

What's your background ?
I worked many years as a social media manager and graphic designer for big online communities in the sport sector. I then developed merchandise and E-Commerces for several of them, selling hundreds of products. After this I created my own clothing which sold products in more than 20 countries around 4 continents, and then started helping other bolod founders with their brands. I blend my creative attitude and imagination with technical expertise given by my studies in computer science. I can optimize your website's speed and build an emotional, powerful visual identity for your brand, while most partners only offer one of the two worlds. I love to read, travel and learn. I have a passion for photography, videography, graphic design, neurosciences and storytelling.
Do you have any preferred sectors ?
While I have deep experience in clothing, accessories, sport, events, sustainability, and wellness, my real focus isn't the industry, it's the purpose. I prioritize working with brands that have a clear, powerful mission and deliver genuinely high-quality products.
What's your core field of specialization ?
Building a succesfull brand as a solopreneur taught me a lot about many fields in marketing and not only. This is why I define myself a full stack, or holistic, marketer. My strenght is indeed not having one single field of specialization, but using my skills to understand the big picture, have vision and be a real value for small purpose driven brands. That said, if I have to choose one of the fields I am more specialized in, that would be Brand strategy and E-Commerce.
Where I need to be based to work together ? Which languages do you speak ?
I work exclusively with European brands, no matter where are they based as long as it's in Europe. I speak english, french, spanish, a bit of portuguese and of course my native language, italian.

I could say because I am the best. But I'm not, and no one actually is. That is a void, vague and often alarming claim.
